- Note-having the amount of points to gain the next rank, does not mean you autimaticly become that rank. You must first wait for those above you to promote you, howecer just because you have the points, doesnt mean you gain the rank either. The superiors will decide if your conduct is good enough, and if you deserve the rank. Also Fleet Admirals and Grand Admirals can promote people even if they do not have the points, if there is a need for someone to fill that position.

Also you can join a ship as an officer.

Squadron Leaders can give you special flight assignments, were you fly off and do a special mission by yourself or with a wingmate. Also you can command a Flight Group of fighters.

Lieutenant[]
You can command a Squadron.
In ship, you can command a division, like enginering.

Lt. Commander[]
You can order Lieutenants around.

Captain[]
You are no longer able to be part of a squadron, however if you chose to stay part of a squadron, you have to keep your commander rank, and cannot be captain.
You are now able to command starships.

You are now able to command the lead ship in a task force, and therefore, also command that tast force.

Admiral[]
An Admiral commands 1 fleet, not meaning the Fleet, but meaning small fleet. Ex. Revan Skyhawk commands the 1st Fleet of task forces.

2star Admiral[]
These Admirals control either 1 big fleet, such as the 5th Fleet, or two normal sized fleets. (2Adm.)

If no Fleet Admiral is in command see the points of all Grand Admirals The Grand Admiral with the highest gets promoted to Fleet Admiral and will stay Fleet Admiral for life, or until he or she retires.
