As you burst into the hanger you see all the ships. You then, at random, chose one of the closest ships and fly into space.
Later the Galaxy becomes enslaved, but you survive, in guilt, because you didn't stay and help, but you got yourself one beautiful ship, that helped you survive the war. However now everyone calls you a sissy.
